Empowering Success Together
Therapy that feels steady, thoughtful, and human
A Group Psychotherapy Practice serving those in California
Psychotherapy for young adults, couples, and teens
Our Practice
You look fine from the outside. Functioning, showing up, holding it together. But internally something feels off. Anxiety that won’t quiet down, patterns in relationships you can’t seem to break, a sense of emptiness or disconnection you can’t quite name.
At Graft and Blossom, we work with the whole person, not just the symptoms. Our approach is relational, depth-oriented, and grounded in genuine curiosity about what’s driving your experience – not just what’s on the surface.
We offer virtual therapy services and will soon offer in San Benito County.
Empowering Success Together
Meet the founder
Graft and Blossom Therapy is a boutique psychotherapy practice in California offering relational, depth-oriented care for people navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, burnout, and the complexity of figuring out who they are and what they want.
We believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood. Our clinicians draw from psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, IFS, CBT, and nervous system-informed approaches – working collaboratively with you toward meaningful, lasting change.
Founded and clinically led by Joshua Ramirez, LCSW, the practice is rooted in curiosity, emotional attunement, and a deep respect for each client’s inner world.

Therapy that goes beneath the surface, working with what’s actually driving your patterns, not just the symptoms you can see.

Teen Therapy
If your teen is struggling, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure this out on your own. We can help your teen as they navigate anxiety, perfectionism, academic pressure, and big life transitions.

Group Therapy
People from all walks of life getting support from each other and a licensed professional. Realizing that we all are struggling with something similar can empower us.

Child and Parent Therapy
Being a parent is difficult, and we often repeat what we learned as children. Child and Parent therapy focuses on healthy ways of empowering our children while also maintaining healthy dynamics as the parent.
Providing quality therapy that is goal-oriented, evidence-based, culturally relevant & individually designed.
All of our clinicians have advanced training in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure-Based Therapies (E/RP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and other foundational treatment methods.
Meet the Team
Effective therapy isn’t just about methods and modalities. It’s about feeling genuinely understood by someone who’s fully present, curious, and honest with you. Our therapists bring specialized training, real warmth, and a shared commitment to work that actually goes somewhere.

That’s completely normal — many people feel uncertain or anxious before their first session. Starting therapy is a brave and meaningful step, and it’s okay to not have everything figured out.
Our therapists are here to create a safe, supportive space where you can go at your own pace. You don’t have to know exactly what to say or where to begin — just showing up is enough. We’ll meet you with compassion, not judgment, and walk alongside you as you navigate whatever brings you in.
We work with adults, teens, children, couples, and families on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, ADHD, relationship challenges, and more. Each of our therapists has their own specialties — you can read about them on our https://graftandblossomtherapy.com/meet-the-team
We currently only offer virtual sessions, but as soon as find a location we will begin in-person sessions.
The first session is all about getting to know you — your history, your goals, and what’s bringing you to therapy now. Your therapist will ask thoughtful questions and help you begin to map out a plan for your care.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Most clients begin with weekly sessions, and then adjust frequency based on progress and goals.
Yes — your privacy is extremely important to us. What you share in therapy is kept confidential and protected by law. We will not share any information about you without your written consent.
There are a few legal exceptions to confidentiality, such as if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse of a child, elder, or dependent adult, or if we are required to comply with a court order.
We’ll go over these limits in your first session, so you’ll always know exactly where your privacy stands.
We are an out-of-network provider, which means we don’t bill insurance directly, but we do provide superbills for PPO plans so you can request reimbursement. Our session fees range from $125 to $225, depending on the provider.
A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement (if you have PPO or OON benefits). We’re happy to walk you through the process and provide what you need.
To make this process easier, we partner with Mentaya, a tool that helps you verify your OON benefits and even submits claims on your behalf. You can use Mentaya to check your potential reimbursement before you begin therapy. We’re happy to guide you through that process!
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including HSA and FSA cards. Payment is typically collected at the time of each session.
If you’re using out-of-network insurance benefits, we can provide a superbill for reimbursement — and we also offer support through Mentaya, which helps streamline the claim process
We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to the full session fee.
